報(bào)告摘要：
The notion of group in modern algebra was introduced by E. Galois in early 1830s in the studying of solvability of algebraic equations by radicals, and the notion of Lie algebra was introduced by S. Lie and W. Killing in 1880s. In 1968, V. Kac and R. Moody introduced the notion of Kac-Moody algebra. In this talk, we recall vertex algebras and their modules, and their relationship with affine Kac-Moody algebras. At the end of the talk we relate the representation theory of certain graded infinite dimensional Lie algebras with \Gamma-vertex algebras and their equivariant quasi modules.

譚紹濱，博士，博士生導(dǎo)師，廈門(mén)大學(xué)特聘教授，現(xiàn)任廈門(mén)大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)、國(guó)家天元數(shù)學(xué)東南中心執(zhí)委會(huì)主任。曾任廈門(mén)大學(xué)教務(wù)處處長(zhǎng)、國(guó)際合作與交流處處長(zhǎng)、廈門(mén)大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)助理，擔(dān)任第六、七屆國(guó)務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)學(xué)科評(píng)議組成員，教育部高等學(xué)校教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委員，享受?chē)?guó)務(wù)院政府特殊津貼。擔(dān)任“Acta Mathematica Sinica”、《數(shù)學(xué)進(jìn)展》等學(xué)術(shù)期刊編委。曾獲國(guó)防科工委科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)、寶鋼優(yōu)秀教師獎(jiǎng)?，F(xiàn)主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金委重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目及天元基金項(xiàng)目。
